The orders come at a period of growing momentum for Innoviz in the defense and homeland security markets. In recent weeks, Innoviz has announced collaborations with several defense and counter-UAS providers, and in July, the former President and CEO of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Yoav Har-Even, joined the Board of Directors of Innoviz.
Emerging defense and homeland security threats are moving beyond what traditional sensor architectures were built to detect.
